in the misty clouds, she could only see bits and pieces of shadows, remnants of people once living. the sound of melodic music playing from afar, she felt comfortable for some reason... even though surrounded by mystery and terror. a small boy appeared with a note... "and for you know, love that forbidden can never go without punishment." soon the boy was no longer a boy, but a slithering beasts with maggots for eyes. "post haste, i am thy maker," the fear took the scream from her tongue, the breath from her lungs, she would fall to the ground with elegant gracefulness. the maggots became flies, infesting the princess, filling every orifice.
through the eyes of the serpent, you could see defeat, pain, anguish... he slowly began to slump, as the blade was taken out of where it had forced its path. the sword glistened with black blood, which the boy wiped off before placing it in its home. the flies were suddenly gone, and in their place were the soft kisses of the boy around the princess's face. pulling out the amulet, the lovers became an aura of light, before vanishing into thin air.
