since my last post, i have done a considerable amount to my bike. first, i started working insane hours in order to even fund the project... which sucked, but was worth it in the end. i shaved off the brake cable guides that were located underneath the top tube. their was a small crack in the frame that i welded and fixed... then had it powder coated semi gloss black. i built a new rear wheel with a paul high flange hub, dt swiss spokes and a velocity deep v rim. i bought a selle italia 165 gram saddle, mainly because the bmx seat was destroying my ass, but also cause it went better with the whole scheme of the bike. i also got a new deda stem and chris king headset. i was so happy with the end result.
