Co-Author
Hi there :)!
I couldn't find any posting rules for this comm so I hope me posting this here is okay. I'd love to write some Suits slash with a co-author as I think that working together usually results in better ideas, more fun and better results. I'd also love to try out roleplay-writing (parts of) a fan-fic so that's another reason why I'd love to have someone to write with.
My strengths are coming up with good plots that make sense, maintaining a certain tone and writing style, keeping characters in-character and anticipating what they would do in certain situations, inner monologues/feelz, establishing the atmosphere of a given situation/place and just generally being a quality-obsessed perfectionist (though the latter could be seen as both a strength and a weakness, I guess).
My weaknesses would have to be that - although my English is pretty good - I'm not a native speaker so it's not perfect. This also means that there'll probably be quite a few cultural references, etc. that may not occur to me. I don't know shit about law, the American legal system, etc., either. Furthermore, I tend to suck a little at transitioning from one scene into the next and knowing when to end a scene and when I write on my own I sometimes tend to struggle to get things finished (that's only the case when I write on my own and have no one giving me a kick in the arse, "cheering" me on or helping me get inspired, though).
I'd love to write something really angsty grounded in the Suits canon (preferably during season 1) with the general tone of the show but turned a few notches darker. But I'm open to other stuff, too. (So long as it's Suits slash, of course :p.)
