"You know," Mike said, taking a sip from his outrageously sized margarita, "I still can't believe you were serious about all this."
Harvey, opened an eye, took one look at Mike, and shut it again, "I can't believe you actually ordered that drink."
Mike shrugged even though he knew Harvey couldn't see him, "It tastes good."
"You look ridiculous."
Mike laughed, "I'm not the only one."
The two of them were currently on a beach soaking up the afternoon sun. Mike sat cross-legged with his drink in hand, Harvey was facedown on his stomach. They were both on horrifically patterned beach towels and Mike had a streak of sunscreen on his nose that he refused to rub in.
"Honestly though," Mike set his drink down in the sand and looked at Harvey. "This seems too good to be true."
Harvey let out a sigh and propped himself up on his elbows, "Mike, we're in Argentina. The sun is shining and you are enjoying a stupid fruity drink at my expense. You have nothing to worry about. Do you want to go back?"
"And deal with you on a plane for another ten hours? No thanks."
Harvey, with all the professionalism he could be bothered to muster, flicked sand at Mike.
A few minutes later, after Mike had retaliated by throwing bits of shells at Harvey's unresponsive form, he said in a quiet voice, "Thank you."

They left when the sun finally started to set, shaking the sand from their towels and putting on their shirts so they didn't stand out quite as badly as they walked back to their hotel.
And if Harvey kept his hand on Mike's lower back the entire way, well. Mike wasn't going to say anything.

I was giggling madly from the first line, oh my god, the image of Mike sitting on a beach drinking a giant margarita is perfect. Eee and a tiny little bit of seriousness when Mike thanks him guh.
I don't even have words for how adorable and perfect this is, you have their absolutely banter down ♥♥♥♥
