OFFICIAL RULES OF THE SUITS_BETA COMMUNITY!
RULES:
WHICH MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES!
1. TAGS ARE MANDATORY! USE THEM AT ALL TIMES!
2. BETAS - you are allowed to decline a request at any time - So do not feel obligated to accept someone’s offer.
3. AUTHORS - Please fill out a new beta request application for each story that you are working on, unless you are working on more than 1 at a time. If that is the case, post 1 entry with multiple applications, showing only 1 outside of the cut.
4. AUTHORS - Please update your beta request form once you have found your beta and are satisfied.
5. AUTHORS - a filled request form should be deleted approximately 1 week after posted. This is the original poster’s responsibility. Doing this helps to guarantee that the community will not get out of control.
6. BETAS - you are allowed to post your beta job application only once, and it is your responsibility to keep it updated at all times with any changes in availability, projects, or any other pertinent details.
7. We, The Maintainers, have created a MASTER LIST of all betas that have filled out the applications.
8. BETAS - each of you will be marked with a green, yellow, or red status. Green means available, yellow means temporarily not beta’ing, and red means you no longer beta. Each status can be changed at any time. If your status changes, it is your responsibility to comment on the master list post to inform us.
9. NO INDIVIDUAL INTRO POSTS WILL BE ALLOWED! If you are looking for fellow Suitor friends, try the various friending memes.
10. COMMUNITY PROMOTION of a Suits related community is allowed here, but please remember to contact us first! Failure to do so will get your entry deleted! WHEN POSTING A GRAPHIC please adhere to the following policy.. Said image may be no larger than 400px in any one direction. This is to ensure that the community design remains intact.
11. DO NOT POST YOUR ENTIRE FIC HERE! A link to it in your journal is fine, but nothing more. Only share the link if your story is in need of beta'ing. Posting the link to promote your fic will not be tolerated. There are other communities for that purpose.
12. AUTHORS - please contact the the beta reader of your choice by private message as to prevent a backlog of comments on their applications.
13. BETAS - please contact the author in need by leaving a comment on their request form[s], or by sending them a private message.
14. AUTHORS and BETAS - once you have found each other, please make plans to discuss/work through the process elsewhere.
15. When posting, YOU MUST ADHERE TO THE POSTED FORMAT HERE - failure to do so will get your post deleted.
16. All potential spoilery content must be put behind a cut for a period of 1 week.
17. Let’s keep the fandom a positive place. Any disrespectful behavior will result in an initial warning. Failure to yield to said warning will get you banned!
