I've noticed that I can group my friends into two categories: friends that yodel and shout when they talk, and friends that whisper as softly as mice. WHYY? It irks me when my friends whisper like mice, because I can barely hear them and it makes me feel deaf and old. I KNOW I don't have bad hearing. I have very very good hearing. Why can't they talk at a normal tone of voice?! They always talk like they're in a library or something.
