*there is a gaunt looking mother, worn out physically by grief and sorrow, standing by the lake with a very awake infant in her arms, sucking on his thumb. Despite her frail appearance, she is smiling and her attention seems to be focused on something or someone not visibly present*
Just look at him. He has grown so much. Just about eight months already, can you believe it? And look at his beautiful hair! Just like yours, darling, golden and soft.
*giggles* Kai gives his grandpa a hard time at times. I think he knows and is getting back at him for all the things he put his mommy through. Aren't you proud of him, love? He gets his mischievousness from you.
