Strange Occurences
*Over the last day or so, strange things have started happening--even more so than usual for Budehuc. The air feels charged, and many inhabitants may be feeling uneasy and filled with a disturbing sensation of looking for something they cannot find.
So far, none of it seems dangerous. A barmaid's favorite mug turned from wood to pewter. One of the orange flags on the castle walls turned blue. A spotted dog has turned pure white. A (harmless) squid appeared in the lake--a saltwater creature living apparently happily in a body of water that's a mix of fresh and estuary waters. A guardsman's sword has turned into an axe.
In other places, some random objects have disappeared completely, while others belonging to no one have appeared. One woman no one has ever seen before is trying to discreetly find a lost pair of pink panties, which are nowhere to be found.
Another woman has apparently lost something more important--and she sits on the steps to the manor, weeping.*
