Sunrise, Sunset
*there's a new ship at the docks, with the name Long Sunset painted at the stern. It looks rather... modest, next to the Grishend or the Lino en Kuldes, but by golly, it's certainly the best rigged out for fishing, with trawling nets and even a couple harpoon guns. It looks like it could hold a whole lot, but it's mostly cargo space. Its modest crew--a one-eyed Nay-Kobold, a large man with a shaved head, a dark-skinned woman, and an adolescent girl with a mess of black hair--looks a little weary, and has been chattering away with an absolutely ecstatic Subala, at least after they got her to stop clinging to them for dear life hugging them. Subala eventually gets around to addressing anyone gathered near the docks/beach/cafe/that general corner of Budehuc*
Hey everybody---as you can see, my ship has come in, for real! My crew's gonna rest up here for a little while, as they've been through heck'n back no thanks ta me that fish.
I was sayin' to Lazlo, I need to make sure we're all ship-shape before we head back on our course, so I was thinkin' it might be fun to have some sailor's games to pass the time. Tug o' war, knot tyin' contests, that kinda thing. If you wanna join in on that, let me know.
We'll eventually be sailin' off in a few weeks' time. Anyone lookin' for work wants to join up, or wants to buy passage south, come talk ta me, too. She *referring to the ship* ain't fancy, but we got some empty quarters and can make you comfy enough. I can also arrange short trips, if someone wants to go to Vinay del Zexay for supplies or whatever. That goes for you Harmonian merchants, too.
((ooc: I'm not dropping Subala--just advancing her story a little. Stop looking disappointed, now. If folks DO, in about a month, want to join her on a little trip (RP log) south, let her know IC or PM me. If anyone needs to borrow an NPC for heavy labor or whatever, feel free to use the crew. ^^))
