Now that it's a bit warmer, I'm thinking about heading out to the plains for some hunting. I've been in the mood for a nice big chunk of steak lately. Steak and potatoes. And ale. Not a better meal in the world.

I might swing by Karaya and Duck Village as well. Does anyone want anything while I'm there?

Well, since I haven't had time to write any letters...just pass on to Beecham that I made it home safely and I thank him for the grace he and the village showed to a stupid traveler. That should be all, for now.

It's my word, though, and it's the truth. I did something stupid and the Karayans did not turn me away.

Karayans are quite hospitable. I'm still in their debt for taking me in all those years ago.

I always thought it remarkable that they did, but that was before I ever really...knew them, as a people. You were a lucky man, Sir Wyatt.

Yeah, sometimes it takes a little friendly association before we realize certain things about people.
