Happy equinox!
Well, it may not be the unusual warmth we had a few weeks ago, but the gradually warmer days are certainly lifting my mood. And today is the first day of spring, officially, so it can only get better from here on out. Isn't that wonderful?
I've noticed we've had a number of new arrivals. I did my best to greet everyone but I'm nowhere near as diligent as Lady Cecile, for she watches the gates with eyes like an eagle. If I missed anyone, then welcome, and I hope you enjoy your time at Budehuc, be it long or short. As a castle guard, if there is anything I can do to assist any of our visitors-come-residents, I'm relatively easy to find. Just follow the clanking armor. *chuckle*
Ah, and the weather is conducive at last to daily rides, as well. If anyone is interested in joining me on an exercise ride, I usually go out in the mornings after the horses have been fed and groomed. It's a perfectly good reason to get out of bed in the morning, the way I see it.
