I like people who can adjust to situations well and take things in stride. And I like people with a good sense of humor about things in general, not taking him or herself or life too seriously. I don't like people who puff themselves up with their social standing while putting down others who might be of a lower social class. It isn't necessary and it is beyond idiotic to believe oneself to be above anyone else simply because you were born into a particular class. Birth privileges mean absolultely nothing. A single event can change everything and you are left with nothing. Who in the end really gives a damn about your parentage, your inheritance, or your privileges when they have all been taken away from you? They can be taken away because being born into nobility does not in any way guarantee that you will retain your titles or wealth when there is a change in political power. Or an invasion from a foreign nation that has enslaved your homeland.

I mean, really. A little imagination goes a long way.
