Holy crap...
So Converge played tonite at the Whiskey, and holy crap, it was amazing. My homies in Stricken played, and I got a "time out" for spitting on the ground and flipping off a security guard. But then I came back and moshed the very last bit for them. They did a good job. First Blood was next and they tore shit up. Crowd went nuts. Stayed outside for Curl Up and Die, and just hung out with some homies. For those who watch The Kids in the Hall...Remember that chicken lady? And she was always horny? Well anyways, there was this chick, that looked like that. She was fucking HIDEOUS man. Ali and I couldn't stop laughing about it. Anyways. Converge was up next. They played some stuff from their upcoming CD. Shit was amazing. And of course they played the classics like Conduit and The Saddest Day. It was the shit. After Converge's last song. Jamey Hatebreed came out and did 4 Hatebreed songs with the Converge players. It was fucking pandemonium. Kids flying left and right. Fists and feet in faces. Kids jumping off the balcony. Just simply chaos. I dropped 70 bucks on Converge merch. Shit's dope. I saw alot of kids I haven't seen in forever, so it was good seeing all you kids. I saw my friends from Moorpark, The Bay Area, Sacramento, the South Central kids, some T.O. homies, my best friend in the world Katie. Man, so good seeing you all at one the most awesome shows. <3 Murder Mike
