CRUELTY IN LIVONIA!

Oct 09, 2006 17:43

For the past few years, and i'm sure for longer than that - Wilsons Barn, located in Livonia, Michigan {On Middlebelt and West Chicago) has had a pony ride set up during their autumn celebrations.

A few years ago, my boyfriend at the time and I went there, and witnessed what had to have been one of the saddest and most depressing moments of my life.

These ponies were stagnant. Chained cruelly to a metal device which holds them in place until they are allowed to move only forward, the look in their eyes was one of complete and utter misery. When they do get to move, it's only in a very small circle. They had no water, no food, their hair was matted, and it was the most pathetic thing i'd ever seen.

Driving past the barn again, yesterday was so emotional, and this year, I have vowed to do something about it, to show Wilsons barn that the use of animal entertainment is pointless and cruel. Please join me in calling Wilsons Barn to complain and let them know that people are very concerned about this horrible act of cruelty. Please do not let this continue. Let them know that in our area, Animal cruelty is never entertaining.

PLEASE CALL AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THESE WISE AND NOBLE ANIMALS! THEY DO NOT DESERVE THIS!
