0. Do you cut? Yes.
1. Who do you hide it from? Everyone.
2. Who knows about it? my close friends know, my parents know and dont care, and my pastor knows, though i didnt tell him.
3. How long has it been since you last cut? A few days ago..I stopped counting.
4. Have you ever tried to commit suicide before? yes, more times then i could count
5. Where do you usually cut? my wrists
6. When you cut, who's usually the first to find out? my friends at church
7. What’s your worst experience with a fresh cut? I once cut myself so deep it didn't stop bleeding.
8. Do you have a fascination with scabs? Yes. I pick them off when they heal and re-open the cut.
9. Do you like scars, yes or no? i do and i dont. i dont feel like the cut is "good" unless it scars, but im also ashamed of my scars

11. What other methods of SI do you use? im a burneer too, and occasionally will bang my head against the wall, but prefer cutting.
12. Do you dislike the term "self mutilation"? it doesnt bother me

15. Ever been institutionalized/hospitalized for SI'ing? yep, multiple times.
16. Do you ever run into problems with hiding cuts (i.e.: gym change rooms?)yes, like when i go swimming.
17. What’s the best part about cutting to you? Realeasing everything. i love to watch the blood.
18. Do you know of any songs that talk about SI? “Hurt” by NIN, i think "The Remedy" by Seether alludes to SI. "Frail, the skin is dry and pale, the pain will never fail, and so we go back to the remedy." i could be wrong though.

20. What instrument do you use to cut? Razors. I need to sharpen mine.. The sharper it is, the less it stings.
21. What causes you to cut? when i feel overwhelmed by things. usaully when im very alone.
22. What do you feel afterwards? i feel like hell, but its better then i felt beore. before it was desperate presure, and after its calm sadness, idk really how to explain it. i usually cry afterwards though.

Why did you start? i dont remeber what upset me really, but i remerb this urge to scream, yell, hit something, anything. and i dug my nails into my arms, pretty subconscoiusly actually, and it drew blood. and everything just stopped when i saw myself bleed. soon that tiny bit wasnt enough and i started getting bolder with my self harm until i started full out cutting.
33. What did you use? the first time? my nails
35. Have you ever tried to quit before? Yes, i stopped for little over a year once, and have since started again. recently i stopped for 15 days then cut again.
36. What’s the longest time you've went without cutting? like 13 or so months.
37. Have you tried alternative coping methods other then cutting? Yes, writing, drawing, journaling, all of that stuff. nothing is like cutting, burning, hurting yourself.
38. Why do you like to cut (if you do)? The release, getting rid of the pressure, the urge the control it gives me.
39. Why don't you like cutting (if you don't): i hate what it does to the people around me, that love me, and i hate how scarred my arms are.
40. Have you ever needed stitches before? No, but sometimes i wish i could do it that deep.
41. Have you ever been to the hospital for cutting or issues relating to cutting? yes multiple times.
44. Would you advise people to stop or start cutting?: i would NEVER advise someone to start any form of si, and yes i do try and help people stop, even though it still; consumes my life.
45. Have you ever talked to a professional about your cutting/issues relating to cutting? yes, lotta good it did me.
46. Do you like the taste/look of blood? I love the look.
48. What is your opinion on cutting? I feel its a realese, and its not a suicidal act. i feel it can escalte into that however and is still something that needs to be taken seriously and addressed as a real issue.
