I recently got back from my friday night adventures.
I went to Newtown RSL with Haley, to see Bluebottle Kiss and Big Heavy Stuff. I missed a third of the latter because they got a bit boring and having drinks downstairs with Haley was more fun. I love the stupid shit we say to each other. How about those perky little tits halez? ;)
I enjoyed Bluebottle Kiss quite a lot. I love their big, edgy sound and the singer is awesome. It was an excellent performance, especially when they went sick at the end. We both had even sorer throats than when we arrived (sucks on a cepacol) which sucks. I just hope I haven't caught another cold or flu. I made Haley walk down to The Duke with me because I was obliged to say hello to miss_porcelain, since I rudely ignored her last time I was there (even though I didn't know she worked there until later :P) and she was more gracious and beautiful than I ever imagined. You are a stunner Jenny. Pity all the swooning boys.. Sorry I shot through without saying goodbye but Haley was in no mood to hang around and you were nowhere to be seen when we left. It was great getting to meet you though :) I ran into peekae too! That was nice. I was thinking it's strange how we've bumped into each other a couple of times now, but on pondering, it's to be expected. It's just that I tend to see the same people all the time, while others, I never see. Like seeing those same kids from Fantomas at BDO. I digress....
Budge called while we were there and was whingeing about getting picked up and I was very annoyed. I hate people expecting you to be their taxi. And my phone was dead as usual so that was making it even more annoying. We stopped off at Shakespeare's on the way to the Hordern. Thank god they were open. Haley stole all my chips :,( That and other things made me get agro and I had a rant at Haley. Gladly she doesn't hate me for it :) We're good like that. We picked Budge up, and Halez and I laughed our arses off at how lame he looked, wearing his wannabe Placebo wig. Geez that kid is a freak tweaker. He looked like a tranny from the western suburbs and was off chops, as I expected. Being loud and obnoxious but heaps funny too, blurting words here and there with no coherence. Halez was snapping a million photos, flash bulb like a strobe light, driving through the city and beyond. Budge kept calling her Hildy hahahahahahaha. And he had a home-made Bauhaus shirt on that amused me greatly and we listened to "In The Flat Field" for most of the trip home. He loves them so much now and he owes it all to me muahahahahahaha, and I owe it all to kreepygurl. teehee
When we were crossing the bridge, approaching Hildy's house (ahahaha!) she saw flashing lights (ooh >.<) and said it was cops busting down the projects yo! So we parked on the other street and walked over to discover it was firemen. We said our goodbyes and parted company. Driving the rest of the way home, Budge went on about Brian Molko being a good singer, like Peter Murphy (wtf?!?!?!?!) Murphy is God and Molko sounds like he's trying to be a yank. I hate his voice.
More Bauhaus adoration ensued. I think Halez will become a fan. After hearing only a few songs, she was like, "This is gooood", and she sounded surprised, as if I don't have the best taste in music.
