The Result of Carelessness

Maybe we were fate
Maybe we were force
But all I know is that now, if I had a choice
I wouldn’t leave for anything
My only wish is to always have your hand in reach
For those moments when I slip,
You will always break my fall
Injury is pain, but pain is momentary
Love is bliss,
And this is forever
Scrape me, and you’ll see , I will not cry
That little wince, will be but a memory tomorrow
And tomorrow you will still be mine
The hurt, and the scars they are all of the past
And we are of the future, and every day to come
To wake up in your security,
To sleep in your stability
That’s what I live in now
Knowing, not wishing
Feeling, not wondering
Absorbing with not a second thought
That is what we are
Solid and strong
A few bruises but not breaks
For we have everything it could ever take
Jealousy is life, and feelings are inevitable
But shovel away the layers,
Until you hit foundation
Concrete as a gravestone
The questions still may roam
But their distance is far enough
We wont trip upon them, but keep walking
Confident and proud
Hesitant enough, are those who pass us by
To touch there is a price,
To fondle you will cry
To pry and reach, and fight and fuss
Is all but dreamers play
Fate or force, I have a choice
And I made my choice to stay
