So I was at the concert, at the edge of the dance pit, and this fight breaks out. I didn't know what it was about or who was in it, I just saw like 12 kids beating the shit out of one tiny person. Then they all get thrown out except one, who runs over to where I am and tells this girl. "Yo, we just fucked up this kid who was in our space," and she was like who and he was like "The Michael Bob's Crew and me."

I don't know where Virginia Beach went wrong, but music scenes are about unity, not some fucking primitive fight over territory. It's not about all these straight edge, ninjaxcore, christcore, dancecore, emocore, hardcore, metalcore, gaycore or fashioncore fucks, it's about the music. Fuck straight edge kids who pick fights with non edge kids, fuck hardcore kids who pick fights with emo kids. This shits about unity, we are all part of the same race, and through music we are all after the same goal. I know we can go to shows and set our differences aside and have a good time.

Which brings me off of the Virginia Beach scene and to another issue at home. Shows aren't a place to broadcast your new boyfriend/girlfriend who just so happens to be "more scene than you." Nobody fucking cares, so leave the relationship shit at the door cause shows are for music not s&m. Not to sound like an ass, but I'm fucking sick and tired of kids at shows wrapped up in their partner like shes a dying fad they cant part with.
