the trickiest moment in a relationship, is introducing your partner to your friends. most of the times they’ll find something wrong with them - their standards are higher than yours. they want you to date someone that’s good to you and who’s fun to hang out with. when your friends are your family, your partner has to fit in just right.
so when a. played in a club near my town i decided the moment was right. i invited a bunch of people to come over to my place to meet him. even tho there was the language barrier, they all got along great and what was supposed to be just an introduction, turned into a party. a party that lasted until dawn at the club. i can’t remember much of the night itself because i had way too much to drink, but i know everybody had fun. it was great too see all my closest friends and my boyfriend in the same room, having fun together as if they’d known each other forever.
now he wants me to meet his mum and his son, which i’m a little bit scared about. i don’t particularly like kids, apart from little noah. and i’m scared of parents because of the relationship i have with mines - which is non existent - and because i remember the hard time evan’s gave me. they didn’t like me and - to this day - i still don’t know why. probably because i had the wrong name and didn’t have enough money in the bank.
