A poem dedicated to the light of my life.

My nights have turned into day,
And days into night.
I cannot go on this way,
Try as I might.

I know we are not who we used to be,
Each of us a changed being.
Some things which you cannot unsee,
I can't ease the doubt you are feeling.

You're on my mind all day long,
So into you, no one else in my heart.
Remembering and listening to our song,
Always make my tears start.

I've never known a love like yours before.
Although I have crossed many a line,
You remained so real and true and pure.
There must be a reason, you must be mine.

All our memories locked in yesterday,
Playing like a film without sound.
But what matters is only today,
Wanna let you know I'll be sticking around.

Waiting for the day when we meet again,
A chance to renew our love for each other.
This time my devotion for you will never wane,
