Watch me fail english. This is the best I could come up with that was "school-appropriate"and non-suicidal.

Memories of happy days,
Carefree days,
Days of extraordinary beauty.

Too busy to smell the air,
After fresh rain has fallen,
Now,
Too busy to pick spring flowers,
On a warm, sunny afternoon.

A single pressed flower,
Long forgotten,
In a thick and heavy book,
Tight in its pages,
Hides a beauty.

Too busy to gaze at white clouds,
Imagine different shapes,
Now,
Too busy to watch the sun rise,
And marvel at its color.

A single press flower,
I found the other day,
In the depths of my nature book,
I kept when I was young.

Too busy to smell black coffee,
Brewing,
Now,
Too busy to feed the ducks,
At the local pond.

The single pressed flower,
A deep purple lilac,
Shined with radiant youth,
In a soft, graceful pose.

Its petals soft and flat,
Its leaves dry,
My single pressed flower,
Brings back memories preserved,
Waiting to get out,Bursting at the seams,
Ready to remind me,
Of the leisurely life I once had.

Too busy to watch home movies,
Now,
Too busy to gaze at photos.

My single pressed flower,
Perfectly preserved,
I will keep near my heart,
So I will never forget.

Memories of happy days,
Carefree days,
Days of extraordinary beauty.

Tell me what you think. I'll be up all night editing it, tearing it apart, then ruining it by adding "stylistic elements" that no one uses. Seriously, I know more about English than my English teacher.
Eh, ok day. Some things balanced out others. A lot on my mind. I hate weddings. More later.
