(no subject)
Just before, mum asked my brother a question.
He answered with "K-k-k-yeaaah", all Dr Rockso style. Clearly it means "Yes".
She got cranky at him because she wanted him to answer either "yes" or "no". I told her she was being boring.
Then she said, "...don't live in reality..."
I slammed my glass down on the table and said, "GODDAMMIT!"
Then as I got up and put my empty glass in the sink I said to my parents, "I'm just going to leave it at that and move on."
I'm really getting sick of mum telling us that we don't live in reality simply because we quote/reference something in conversation.
