Christmas, New Year and annoying the public
This is probably a long and dull update. But this is the point of the internet.
Well I came back home for Christmas, the first evening was unpleasant because my mother was grumpy (as per usual) and so she took it out on my brother.
Then there was christmas in which the highlights were STarGate DVD's (squee), a very sexy and cool "heavy metal" T-shirt http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/science/8953/ and a pannier and saddle bag for my bike.
Then on the 28th I met people from Rags across the UK, and had a good time. On the 29th, 30th and 31st I was in the count room for the Rag raid on Edinburgh for Cancer research UK (for which I got ths Pink Cancer research UK T-shirt, which I have been told by 3 guys I look very attractive in).
On New Years eve We were supposed to have tickets for the Hogmanay Street Party in Edinburgh with the other rag people courtesy of CR UK, but it was cancelled due to weather, so we went onto the Royak Mile and had a good time inspite of the weather.
Yesterday we went up to the castle and had a wonder around Edinburgh and I said goodbye to everyone. It was all very good fun, and we managed to pull in £45,000 for CR UK and managed to get the largest total for any rag raid before. Which was nice
Going back to cam a week on Saturday, which will be nice.
