Valentine's day and the one I love

Feb 15, 2008 20:57

So yesterday was Valentine's day as I'm sure you all know. So I obviously went and spent it with my beautiful girlfriend. It's about an hour and a half long drive, but to see her I'd drive across the country. So, I left my house around 1 when my sister dropped her car off for me to use, and I got to her high school around 2. She didn't get out until 2:30 so I had to wait a while. I was so nervous that I was going to miss her, because her school has about a million different parking lots, and I couldn't find her car. I was lucky enough to pick the right one though, because when people started shuffling out of the school I instantly noticed her. This is when she did the cutest/sweetest thing ever. She had brought her car with her, but because she wanted to see me so bad we just left it in the parking lot. I know this may not seem like much, but when she told me she didn't want to spend the five minutes away from me to take her car home, I lit up like a christmas tree.

Anyway, we spent the first few minutes at her house, which I had never been in so it was cool to finally get to see it. Her house is huge, and I'm jealous of her room, it's about twice as big as mine which is mind numbingly big. She introduced me to her brother, and her Gecko which was awsome. Her brother reminds me of mine when it comes to video games, always yelling and screaming at the screen when things don't go their way.

After spending some time there we went to Nicole's to visit her. She was with her... well, I really don't know what to call him. Anyway, we made plans to go see "Definitely, Maybe" which turned out to be an amazing movie. The only downer was Nicole's.... ?friend? couldn't come along so it was just the three of us. I felt really bad because Christina and I were together, and Nicole didn't have anyone, though that didn't stop us all from having fun.

The best part about the entire night was when Christina and I got to hang out in the moon light. Granted we were in her jeep, but there was something about the lighting, and being able to hold her in my arms that made everything extra special. I wish we could have just stayed like that forever, but the night quickly came to an end. It's funny how the person who makes you happiest can also drag out some of the sadder feelings. When I'm with her everything is magic, but that drive home was perhaps the most depressing drive I've ever had. I wish I could have just curled up into bed with her and fallen asleep with her.

It's funny, I always poke fun at her "novels" on livejournal, but I do believe I've just written my own...... ohhh well, there was no short way of saying how amazing it was to be with her. So I leave you all saying I hope your Valentine's day went as well as mine, though I highly doubt it, because mine rocked.
