Fate...? Free Will.... ?
I've always wondered about fate, destiny, free will and that stuff.
Anyway, I remember it being explained to me from a christian point of view as such:
You have the ability to choose...but God already knows what you are going to do so, that's where the fate part comes in.
So...
It's not like we are being controlled... it's just that there's some super powerful mind reader (God) that can tell what we are thinking and are doing light years ahead of our very birth. Does that make any sense? This is the best explaination I've ever heard and it seems logical to me. Questions? Comments? Please... comment! I love some deep discussion.
