The illustration of in the animation was made by Katsumata Hideyuki. The song uses an accordion and djembe (played by drum's Sakiyama), which were two instruments Spitz has never experimented with before. I like the classical guitar solo and the parisian-like atmosphere of the song.
The song itself is an optimistic about a person trudging through the difficulties of a failed relationship. I like how the story progresses with the song, as the person originally regrets his mistakes, then accepts defeat before going through cycles of loneliness and depression until he finally begins to move on, despite thinking that it was impossible at the beginning.
When you take something for granted It will fall apart The water's surface shivered as it received the wind
I really don't care if it's just a small fragment I was there, and that is good enough I was beside you I was beside you
From a single word, I could hear a lot of voices Without anyone realizing it I managed to escape
The same thing wont happen twice It's sad, but... I'm lonely, but... I will continue walking Through the rain Through the sunshine
With a little strength, I opened the door for the first time I thought it was impossible, but somehow I managed to escape
I reread your emails that were too kind We'll meet each other again, someday
I wont hesitate to call what we had as something 'special' anymore As I turned away, I'll continue on walking Through the rain Through the sunshine Through the darkness Through the memories
