Hana no Shashin [Kanji+Romaji+Translation]

Nov 22, 2013 00:47

I'm sorry for not posting anything for more than one week! (>__<) Juggling work and family has been challenging this month, so please forgive me. I will work hard to post something at least once a week!

Anyways, Hana no Shashin is the coupling song for "Tsugumi." I think this two songs are nicely paired together, as both of them has a 'light' atmosphere. (I don't really know how to explain it...) Despite that one similarity, the concept of the two songs contrasts each other with 'Tsugumi' being orchestrated, bittersweet and very heartfelt, while 'Hana no Shashin' has folk-like melodies with more optimistic lyrics.

[Kanji]

[Translation]

Picture of a Flower.

The small camera is connected to a thin thread that's impossible to cut off
The time-worn city is filled with things that were left behind
When I think back, this flower was here last year too
Attaching unimportant sentences to it
I placed the words in a yellow envelope
I'm certain it has been sent

The same flowers bloom
To reach towards you, in the distance
There is a vividness that appears after the rain
Even our tomorrow is spread out, seemingly serene

I don't want to admit it, but I know it will come to an end someday
Even when I exaggerate my excitement, my nose can still pick up the pungent scent
Inside the sound, the roadside trees creates a noise
I don't mind the pain of my sore feet in my shoes
I walked briskly to jump over the puddle of water

The same flowers bloom
To reach towards you, who are precious to me
We can't just only rely on this, but
You felt like crying, so you laughed

There is a vividness that appears after the rain
Even our tomorrow is spread out, seemingly serene
