The ballroom was filled with tons and tons of students streaming into the hall. Of course, it was a prom night day, a day of graduation for the third year students, not excluding Tegoshi and Masuda. Both of them arrived at the ballroom, both were exchanging glances. Indeed, both were not looking forward to this day, but rather the time they would spend with each other as the days continues.
However, Tegoshi did not realise the glance that Masuda gave him was different from what he normally did. Was that, guilt?
They settled down in their respective tables. Tegoshi's eyes were fixed on Masuda for the whole period of time. Masuda eyes yet were glancing over to the neighboring table, where a slim girl was settled in the chair, giving back those sweet glances back to Masuda.
'What is it?' Tegoshi thought.
Soon, it was time for the dance. When Tegoshi got invited by his friend, Masuda slipped out of the hall. Tegoshi saw it, following right behind Masuda was the girl, the girl that Masuda were exchanging glances with. Masuda, please, don't tell me it's the truth. With that, Tegoshi crumbled. His heart broke into pieces. It was time for him to face the reality. He walked over to the MC of the day, and requested for a performance. He then asked the MC to broadcast it throughout the whole school.
Everybody settled down in their seat. It was like Tegoshi was an idol, and everybody was waiting patiently for him to start his concert. He looked at the seat of Masuda's . It was empty. Masuda is not back. Tears were forming at the tip of his eyes, and Tegoshi tried his best to control them from flowing down.
Can Masuda hear my voice?
"Can everybody hear me?" Tegoshi speaked into the microphone. Some nodded their head, but it was a weird thing that nobody have actually vocally replied Tegoshi. "Can my feelings be reached to you?"
The two silhouette embraced each other on the bench at the eco-garden of the school. "Ne, Masuda. What are you going to tell Tegoshi?" the girl whispered. Masuda shrugged his head. "I can't possibly tell him that i'm back to being straight, that boy, he really do love me.."
The girl just slightly nodded her head. "I hope he forgives me.."
"It's not your fault, Aoi."
Just when they were enjoying each other company, a voice passing through the PA system could be heard clearly.
"Can everybody hear me? Can my feelings be reached to you?"
It stayed silence for a moment, before a song was heard.
"Futari kiri no kouen kaerimichi no shiteiseki
Itsumo yori hashaideru kimi wo mitsume kiitemita
'Moshimo ashita sekai ga nakunattara dousuru?'
Kimi wa nani mo iwazu ni boku no ude wo gyutto shita ne

It was a song of a pair of lovers, walking home together. The song was filling up the empty hallways, the empty courtyard, the empty garden. But yet, it was filliing up the hearts of the two loverbirds. Masuda and Aoi, did not expect that, from where they are sitting, Tegoshi could see them very clearly, if he were to walk out of the hall. Tegoshi indeed, walked out of the hall, his voice still playing over the PA system.
"Donna kimi mo donna toki mo uketomeru kara
Moshimo kokoro ga kizutsuite namida koboreru toki wa
Sekaijyuu wo teki ni shitemo kimi wo mamoru yo
I LOVE YOU Kotoba wa iranai yo
Kimi ga saigo no kiss itsumademo"
Tears welling up in Tegoshi's eyes finally flowed down. His eyes were still fixed on the two figure at the eco-garden, their hands were tightly clutching together. Holding back his tears, he speaked into the microphone once again.
"Ne, were you guys happy once? I was, you know, Massu.."
