Chapter Six: Cuckoo Clock

Summary: This is what happened..
Author's Note: My two favourite pairings in JE. Decided to do a combination of both of them, and i think the plot is cool. Hope you like it!
"Wh...What?" Chinen mumbled, before he backtracked slightly.
"Father... killed... you?" Chinen mumbled again, as he backtracked more. "I don't mean anything.. But... how could he have gotten away by murdering a high schooler!? Everybody will be tracking him down... but... why is he still...?" Tegoshi started whispering to himself.
Tegoshi started mumbling to himself, before he disappeared. Chinen sensed something was wrong, and he ran all the way back to school, hoping to get help for Tegoshi, from Masuda, or even Daiki.
"Masuda... Masuda-senpai!" Chinen shouted, as he barged into the clubroom, panting hard and fast. "Chinen!?" Masuda blurted out. "I thought you're going to be away for today? Why are you...!" before Masuda could finished, Chinen grabbed onto his arms, and dragged him out. Daiki somehow sensed something was wrong, and followed his senior and lover out of the room as well.
"Tegoshi... Tegoshi-senpai! Something..." Chinen stopped, and glanced around, before he frantically called out Tegoshi's name.
"Tegoshi-senpai.. he followed me... and then... he ... said he saw his murderer..."
"Mur...derer?"
"Tegoshi-senpai! SENPAI! TEGOSHI-SENPAI!" he shouted. Masuda grabbed onto Chinen's arms. "What's wrong?!"
"Tegoshi.. Tegoshi-senpai disappeared once he found out that the murderer was my..." Chinen paused, and gritted his teeth. "...father..."
Masuda shoved Chinen to the side, and ran all the way out of the school. While running, he constantly shouted for Tegoshi's name. "TESSHI! TESSHI! ANSWER ME! TESSHI!" Masuda screamed, without caring the passer-by glaring and stares.
"Ma..ssu?" a voice was heard. Masuda turned around, and saw that it was Tegoshi who was floating beside him. Running behind the bushes, Masuda sighed. "Where did you ran too!?"
"Sorry, Massu... I was confused, so I went back to my hatch for awhile..." Tegoshi mumbled, as he fiddled with his fingers.
"It's okay.. Tesshi, don't scare the hell out of me... I don't want you to disappear again..." Masuda trembled, as he kneeled onto the ground. Tegoshi went forward, and hugged Masuda. "It's okay... Massu, I won't leave anywhere, I'm not going anywhere..."
"67 more days... 67..."
"I know.. is there no way to extend it?"
"I heard there's this cuckoo clock in the school you're residing in that can turn time back in your world..."
"My world?"
"Yea, turning time back, changing everything in the world..."
"Including reviving me back?"
"You can try..."
"Tegoshi-sen...pai..." Chinen muttered when he met Tegoshi the next day. "Chinen! Good morning!" Tegoshi greeted, and hit him on the back hard. "Tegoshi-senpai?" Chinen looked questioningly.
"Chinen, it's okay. Since Tegoshi-senpai is taking that nothing is happening," Daiki bended down and whispered into his ears. Chinen gazed up, and saw Masuda and Tegoshi happily chatting away. "Sorry... Tegoshi-senpai..."
"So now that we have the finals coming, I hope everybody will work hard and do your best!" the teacher announced, before he dismissed the class for school. Tegoshi, who was at the side, was whimpering. "Eh!~ Test huh~ Luckily I'm dead, and there's not a need for me to study anymore. Massu, all the best!"
Tegoshi tried to flee away, when Masuda grabbed him by the arm. "You're staying back to study with me,"
"EHEHEHEHEH!??!??!" Tegoshi grumbled out loudly.

"Okay, so Chinen and Daiki is here to study with us?" Tegoshi whistled, as he churned round and round. Chinen and Daiki smiled sheepishly, before they bowed down. "Tegoshi-senpai, sorry to disturb,"
"It's okay, settle down," Masuda said, as he pushed his hands down for Chinen and Daiki to settle in. Chinen suddenly sneezed, and Daiki have hurriedly took the jacket that was hung on his chair, and placed it over Chinen. "Don't catch a cold, Chii,"
"Dai-chan... Thank you," Chinen said, as he grabbed hold onto the jacket.
Tegoshi disappeared in a second, and appeared with a few books on his hand. "Tegoshi-senpai, what are you...?" Chinen muttered as he observed what Tegoshi was doing at the library.
"Tesshi! Be careful, if somebody caught you....!" Masuda panicked as he looked at Tegoshi. "Don't worry, I've used spells to hid the books from other people's eyes," Tegoshi winked, as he placed the stack of books onto the table.
"Tegoshi-senpai, what are you doing?" Daiki pondered, as he took one of the book that Tegoshi have taken off from the shelve, and browse through it. "Oh, this? I wanted to just check up on the history of the school for a moment," Tegoshi replied, as he started to take one of the book and flipped it through.
"Oh, whatever for?" Daiki asked again.
"Have you guys heard about this cuckoo clock in the school?" Tegoshi asked again.
"Cuckoo clock?" Masuda repeated.
"Yea, a cuckoo clock. One that can turn back time, and rotated everything back to where it was started. I want to try to see if I can find that," Tegoshi said, as he flipped through the books, reading each and every line.
"I know where it is, if you're looking for a cuckoo clock. I heard some of my classmates mentioning something like that, but everybody shoved it off as a myth," Daiki said, as he placed the book on the table.
"It's in our clubroom," Chinen said right after Daiki.
