Summary: This is what happened..
Author's Note: My two favourite pairings in JE. Decided to do a combination of both of them, and i think the plot is cool. Hope you like it!
"Good morning Masuda-senpai," Chinen greeted when he saw Masuda at the front gate of the school. "Morning to Tesshi-senpai," Chinen whispered.
Masuda looked at Chinen and whispered into his ears. "His name is Tegoshi Yuya. Tesshi doesn't like other people except me calling him Tesshi,"
Chinen covered his mouth, before he whispered again, "Tegoshi-senpai, good morning,"
Along the way, Chinen was talking to Tegoshi. It seemed that both of them have clicked on right away when they met that morning. Chinen didn't really realized that although Masuda was beside him, he was still gaining a few more stares from passer by because Masuda wasn't talking- yet Chinen was blabbering non-stop to himself.
"Is Dai-chan better?" Masuda asked, when they entered the school compound. Tegoshi, who was still floating around, said that his head was slightly hurting, and the next moment, he disappeared. "Yea, he's coming for club activity this afternoon," Chinen replied. "Masuda-senpai, I'm heading off first ne!" with that, Chinen walked off.
Throughout the class, Masuda was seen staring out of the window. He was worried for Tegoshi. Although Tegoshi was now a ghost, but somehow, the expression on his face before he disappeared worried him alot. "Tesshi! Tesshi!" Masuda whispered very loudly, making his friends around him to turn to look at him. He apologized, and sighed. 'This is so not going to work,' he thought to himself.
Masuda hurriedly grabbed his lunch-box and ran up all the way to the rooftop during his lunch break. "Don't you find that Masuda have been acting kind of strange recently?" his friends started to wonder. They all started to agree, "Maybe we should try to find out what's wrong,"
A smack on the hand, and everybody agreed.
"Tesshi! Tesshi!" Masuda called out, as he looked around his area for Tegoshi's existence. "Tesshi! Are you still here? Please answer me!"
'Tegoshi Yuya, you have exactly 68 more days,'
'Yes, I know, please..'
"Tesshi! Tesshi!"
'Right, he's calling,'
'Thanks...'
"Massu!" Tegoshi answered, as he pounced onto Masuda, making him fall onto the floor. "Tesshi!" Masuda hugged back, nearly crying out. "Sorry Massu, I had something to do,"
"It's okay! As long as you stay beside me...." Masuda's voice trailed off.
"And then, what is this thing that you need to do?" Masuda asked. Tegoshi hurriedly diverted his attention onto the eggrolls in Masuda's lunchbox. "EGGROLL!" he screamed. "Yes, I know you used to love it, right?"
Tegoshi smiled. "YES!"
Masuda smiled again, and took the eggroll, "I'm eating this on your behalf, Tesshi,"
Tegoshi snuggled beside Masuda, hoping this moment will last. But he knew it won't, because in 68 more days, he's going to be reincarnated.
"Dai-chan! Chinen!" Masuda called out, and ran towards both of them. "Going to club now?" he asked. Chinen and Daiki looked at each other, before they nodded their head. Just when they were about to enter the room, Chinen got a call on his handphone. He picked it up, and hurriedly turned around to whisper softly into the phone. "I'll be right there!" Chinen replied.
"What's wrong, Chii?" Daiki asked, concerned for his boyfriend. "I have something on, sorry Masuda-senpai, I can't attend today,"
"It's alright, you go on ahead. I'll just go in with Dai-chan,"
"Call me after it, alright?" Daiki said, as he patted Chinen's head, before Chinen rushed off. Tegoshi slanted his head, something is not right. "Massu, I'm following him," Tegoshi send a brain mesaage to Masuda before he disappeared, and followed Chinen closely.
Chinen looked around him to make sure nobody is following him. He slowly ran to a garden, and walked straight all the way. Turning, was a small-pathway. He walked towards it, and turned once again. There, was a middle-aged man standing right there. "Chinen Yuri, you're late,"
Tegoshi slowly went up, and looked at the guy. He was somewhat familiar, like Tegoshi have seen him from somewhere before. "Father," Chinen whispered. "Where's the money!?" he shouted. The middle-aged man slapped him across the face, and Chinen was lying onto the floor again. Tegoshi, without thinking twice, ran up to him, "Chinen! Are you alright?"
"Tegoshi-senpai! What are you doing here?" Chinen blurted out. His father looked at him, "What did you said?" Chinen covered his mouth, and looked at his father. He totally forgot only three people can see Tegoshi.
"Nothing Father," Chinen stood up, and digged into his pockets. "This is all I have,"
"IT'S TOO LITTLE! Earn more, you BRAT!" he shouted again, trying to slap Chinen, but Tegoshi have grabbed him by the wrist, and flung him to the side. Chinen's father looked around, and panicked. "You... You better bring more money next time!" his father stammered, before he stood up and ran off.
"I'm sorry, Tegoshi-senpai," Chinen apologised once his father ran off. "It's alright, who's he!?" Tegoshi screamed, and disappeared. The next moment, he appeared beside Chinen.
"He's my step-father," Chinen mumbled.
Suddenly, scenes from two years ago flashed inside Tegoshi's head. How could he forget? How could he forget the person that killed him?
"Chinen, that guy.... is the guy who murdered me," Tegoshi mumbled out, as he stayed stagnant at his position, not moving an inch at all.
