Chapter Seven
The machine beeping could be heard clearly once again. Shige's head was on the bed, with his hand clutching tightly onto Koyama. It have been weeks since the accident. Keii-chan, isn't it time for you to wake up?
His fingers moved slightly. Shige jerked up right away, and frantically called for Koyama. "Keii? Keii! KEII!?" Shige shouted so loudly. Then, Doctor Mikami ran into the room, followed behind was the nurses. As usual, they get Shige to wait outside, while they attended to Koyama.
When Doctor Mikami walked out, a smile on his face was so visible.
"He's awake, don't talk to him too long, let him rest," Doctor Mikami said, before patting onto Shige's shoulder, and leaving the room. Shige slowly dragged his feet, and walked towards the curtain. Is.. Is Keii-chan really awake? Will he recognise him? Will.. will he be able to know...?
With trembling fingers, Shige opened the curtain. Right on the bed, Koyama by then have already sat up, and smiling towards Shige. Koyama spread out his hands, and Shige ran right into it.
"Keii-chan! You're finally awake!!"
"Sorry, Shige,"
Deep in Shige's heart, he's concealing things that he have longed to say. He's scared to confess how he felt, he was scared that if he had said it out, Keii-chan will slipped away from him. He choose to say silent. Little did he expected that the one who spoke was Koyama.
"Shige, I'm sorry that I've made you wait. I promise, I won't leave you ever again,"
Shige continued to stay silence, absorbing every words Koyama is saying.
"I love you,"
Shige's eyes widened. He got himself out from Koyama's chest, and faced towards Koyama. "Did.. you.."
"Yea, Shige. I love you," he said again, the words slowly flowing into Shige's ears.
Tears welled up inside Shige's eyes. A smile slowly formed on his lips, as he hugged Koyama again. "Keii-chan, me too. Please, don't leave me ever again,"
"Unn, I won't, Shige,"
It took quite awhile for Koyama to regain back all the energy he had before the accident. After three weeks, he was healthy again, and he is back to work.
"Good morning everybody!" Koyama greeted, as he flung open the studio door. All eyes gazed towards the door. The first one to react was Tegoshi.
"Koyama! You're alright!" Tegoshi exclaimed, running towards Koyama and talked to him. "Yea, I'm fine, thanks guys," Koyama stratched his back of the head. An item cam flewing to him, and he caught it in the nick of the time. "Welcome back, took you long enough," Koyama looked up, and saw Yamapi smiling towards him. He rised up the wintermelon packet drink on his hand, "Ah, thanks alot, Yamapi!" Shige snatched the packet drink across his hand, and attempted to open it up for him. Tegoshi then walked towards Yamapi, and slapped his hand.
"What would you do if the packet drink hit until Koyama! He just recovered you know!" Tegoshi slightly scolded Yamapi. Shige shoved the packet drink in front of Koyama, as he hold onto it. His eyes were observing at Yamapi and Tegoshi, Masuda, and Ryo.
What on earth happened around here, when he's in coma?
"Ah, Tegoshi and Yamapi are together," Shige explained, as he opened up his bento, and picked out the pickles, placing them on a different tray. Koyama was staring into the sky. "Eh... I thought Ryo likes Yamapi or something? Isn't Tegoshi and Masuda dating?"
"Yes, but somehow Tegoshi broke up with Masuda before going with Yamapi. Here," Shige said, as he picked up the bento and passed it to Koyama. "I've picked out the pickles, there's no reason you can't eat the foods inside,"
"Thanks, Shige!" Koyama exclaimed, as he grabbed over the bento, and slowly stuffed the foods into his mouth.
"But i find it rather weird. Tegoshi and Masuda were all along like the most cutest couple in NEWS. I don't understand why Tegoshi will break up with Masuda," Shige commented, as he slowly used his chopsticks and placed the foods into his own bento. Koyama stuffed a small slice of teriyaki into his mouth. "Hmm, maybe something is happening?"
"I'm not sure myself," Shige then picked up his food and started eating.
"Oh well, just let them settle it amongst themselves. They'll know what's the best for them," Koyama finally said, ending off the conversation.
Shige nodded his head.
