Chapter Three
The both of them walked towards the studio slowly.
"Shige, you know, I met this girl, she's kind of.. how should i say.. nice?" Koyama suddenly blurted out.
"Oh! Introduce! Is she pretty?" Shige asked.
"Of course!"
Both of them laughed it off. They never did realised the existence of hurting was in their heart. They both thought they were best friends, the best friends ever.
While walking in, Koyama saw a figure at the door entry.
"Ah, Koyama-kun!" a femine voice shouted. Koyama turned to the voice, and saw a girl standing outside.
"Ah! Aoi-chan!" Koyama ran towards the girl. Shige followed behind.
"Why did you come here?"
"Here, jacket. I'm afraid you will catch a cold, it's going to rain soon!"
When Shige came near, Aoi nodded her head towards Shige. Shige gently nodded his. Form of greeting. With that, Aoi walked away. With Koyama and Shige walking into the studio, without Shige asking anything. He should be, should be happy for Koyama, yet, a slight hurt was felt within him. It seems that Shige is slowly getting closer to his, true feelings.
Shige, of course, along with Koyama walked into the studio. When they reached the dressing room, only Ryo was inside.
"Ryo? Where are the rest?" Koyama asked, as he looked at the clock of the wall, obvious that they were late. Very late.
"They went ahead first, i was told to stay behind to bring you guys to the place. There was a change of location," Ryo was frustrated, it shows clealy on his face. With that, Ryo, with big stride footsteps walked towards where Koyama and Shige were at, and walked past them, out of the room.
"Let's GO!" Ryo shouted.
He was definitely pissed off.
"Keii-chan, Ryo is angry!" Shige whispered. When Ryo is angry, nobody could make him back to normal. no, it is not impossible. One person, only one person could do that.
Yamapi.
With the tensee atmosphere Koyama and Shige walked closely behind Ryo. When they arrived, the others were having a break. Koyama and Shige settled down on a bench nearby.
"Shige! Aoi just text me, asking me if want to hang out together tomorrow. You want to come along?"
Shige looked at Koyama. It is impossible for him to like Koyama. Koyama is obviously straight. There is no way he could like Koyama.
"Sure!"
The next day, Aoi was standing patiently waiting at the park for the arrival of Koyama and Shige.
"Aoi! Sorry for the wait!" Koyama shouted, waving his hand.
Upon the voice of Koyama's could be heard, Aoi stood up and her face lit up immediately.
Sun. The sunlight was emerging a ray of light onto Aoi, making her details of her face to be shown so precise.
"It's okay, Koyama-kun." Aoi replied, her face showing off every slight of happiness she felt at that moment.
The three walked towards the cinema. Aoi had wanted to watch a new movie that was showing at that moment. As it was a romance movie, Shige didn't mind. Once they entered the theatre Koyama settled down in the middle, with Aoi on his left and Shige on his right. Soon, the music started playing and the room became pitch black.
As Shige was watching the show intently, he felt a hand creeping up onto his thigh from the right side. Who.. Who was it? Shige did not dared to turn, all he knew was, he is in deep panic. Somehow, Koyama seems to know what was happening. His hand came from the left side, and he grabbed the hand that was lying on Shige's thigh. He twisted itm and a yelp was heard. A shadow beside Shige stood up and that shadow exited from the cinema.
"You okay, Shige?" Koyama whispered.
Tears started to flow down from Shige's eyes. He was afraid, so frightened. Koyama turned to his left, to make sure Aoi knew nothing. Indeed, Aoi was mesmerized by the movie playing on the big screen, totally oblivious. Koyama turned back. Placing his right hand around Shige's shoulder and pushed his head down to his shoulder.
"It is okay, Shige, I'll protect you."
Weeping, Shige quietly lied on Koyama's shoulder till the end of the movie.
After ther movie, Aoi bid goodbye. "Granny needs me now!"
Shige looked. Granny? Have they even meet each other parents?
"Ah? Shige? What's wrong?" Koyama looked towards Shige.
"Granny?"
"Yes. Aoi is my cousin, don't you know that? My granny is currently staying with her, so she visits me once in awhile to tell me about Granny's condition." Koyama explained.
Shige widened his mouth. He felt that he has being such a fool. How could he have thought that Aoi was Koyama's loved one?
"So, goodbye!" Aoi said, waving her hands. She she turned and walked away.
Still shocked by the reality, Shige and Koyama then walked home together.
As they crossed the road, Shige was still recovering from the shock that he had just recieved.
"Koyama? Aoi? Cousin? Granny?" these few words keep repeating inside Shige's head.
"Shige!" Koyama shouted. Shige raised up his head, to realise a car was speeding towards him. In the next moment, he felt a push on his body, as he flew away. They next thing was screaming of some passer-bys could be heard. And all Shige saw was Koyama, lying on the road, blood flowing out from his head, profusely. Slowly, Shige emerged into darkness..
