Short, concise description of the idea
To update the Windows XP Publishing Wizard to work for Vista/Windows 7 operating systems for users to easily upload pictures from their computer

Full description of the idea
Trying to get more into LJ's Scrapbook, I stumbled upon the ever-helpful Windows XP Publishing Wizard client (found here: http://pics.livejournal.com/site/clients). As Microsoft has now transformed and improved its new operating system, it would be useful for there to now be an updated client for Vista and Windows 7 users, just as simple and easy as the old one.
An ordered list of benefits

• It wouldn't limit the Publishing Wizard to merely XP users and would broaden its user usage, consequently also continuing the ever-evolving Scrapbook usage
• It would continue the simplicity and ease of the original Publishing Wizard
• It would promote the LJ Scrapbook by broadening its uploading easiness to more than just Windows XP users

An ordered list of problems/issues involved

• Obviously not everyone has necessarily upgraded to Windows Vista or 7, so it may not be utilized or downloaded quite as often as the Windows XP version
• Vista and 7 have evolved quite a bit since XP therefore leaving for many changes for the creators of the original Publishing Wizard client to learn and incorporate
