I think that there should be the option to purchase permanent userpic space, of a limited amount of course.

I understand that permanent accounts are not available, and are not guaranteed to be available in the future.
But what about permanent userpic space being available for purchase? For whatever price Livejournal.com executives think is fair, I think it'd be a nice feature to be able to puchase, let's just say for example, 50 userpics? Maybe 30.
And of course, we should still have the option to purchase additional userpics.
An ordered list of benefits
- Extra userpics, that won't be disabled when your paid account expires.
- The only possible drawback I would assume there would be, is that some people may refrain from purchasing paid accounts as often. But I don't see where that would even be an issue, as there are so many other desirable features with paid accounts.
