Title
your journal settings for your community entries

Short, concise description of the idea
There should be a setting on livejournal where your personal journal settings are your personal settings in a community, too, unless you choose otherwise, like banning someone from commenting on your journal should also ban them from commenting on your community posts as well.

Full description of the idea
I don't want to have to make all of my community posts friends only when there are just a few people I don't want reading them. If I ban those people from my personal journal, why should they still be allowed to read any of my other posts? That's why I banned them in the first place! There should also be a mass ban feature for communities if the entire community is harassing you. It's common sense, really. Why would I ban someone only to have them read my community posts?
An ordered list of benefits
  • People you banned will not be able to read anything you post. Isn't that the why you banned them in the first place?

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • I can't think of any!

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • Just make it an option when someone goes to ban another user; have a box to check and next to it ask, "ban from reading your community posts, too?" without banning them from commenting on the entire community.

banned users, entry creation, community membership, § rejected
