Title
Allow embedded video in comments

Short, concise description of the idea
It would be good to be able to embed a video from any website in a comment.

Full description of the idea
Currently you can embed a video in comments/replies only if it's from a website in LJ's "whitelist" (ie youtube etc..)

Currently if you try to embed a video from another provider in a comment you get an 'Invalid Video URL' error.

Just like you can embed a video from any provider in a new entry with the lj-embed tag, it would be good to be able to do the same in comments, like with a whitelisted provider.

An ordered list of benefits
  • Users will be able to embed videos from any providers in comments.

  • Same benefits as embedding a youtube or whitelisted site in comments, videos are getting more and more popular, there are more and more video providers out there, hence the need to be able to embed them even if they are not from the top providers site. There are more and more communities for sharing videos, hence the need to be able to embed videos in the comments in a community too.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • Don't forbid the use of lj-embed tag in comments/replies, or allow to use the embed tag directly. Currently if you use any of the two for a video provider not in the whitelist you get an 'Invalid Video URL error'.

embedding, § no status, comment creation
