Short, concise description of the idea
I loved getting small snippets of time from LJ as a Paid Member when there were major outages or site problems. It showed great customer service and willingness to go an extra step. As Perm Members we already have access to all the perks. A suggestion for LJ might be to give us the occasional Virtual Gift to bestow. I have used a few and they are fun. Would not using this as an additional perk on occasion also have the benefit to LJ to publicize the Virtual Gifts?
Just an idea but I think maybe a good one for all involved......

great customer service goes the extra mile to exceed expectations. Perm members already have time and access to all functions.
If LJ wants to reward Perm Members in some way, giving us Virtual Gifts to bestow on friends may be one.
It also costs LJ nothing and publicizes the VGifts program. Some people think they're silly, but it would be a nice gesture.
An ordered list of benefits
- Perm Members happy and appreciative.
- Publicizes and increases use of VGifts.
- Cost: practically nothing

- Some perm members think VGifts are silly.
An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
- Would need to create a way to put VGift credit in user accounts - this may already exist?
