Title
Deletion - usability

Short, concise description of the idea
When deleting a comment, put a "view your post again here" link at the end (like in screening comments)

Full description of the idea
When you've finished deleting a comment/thread, a common thing to want to do is return to the post you were reviewing, either to confirm that the commentThread was deleted appropriately and to continue reading the comments. By implementing the end of the deletion process just the same as it is in "settings" it will be much more usable.

An ordered list of benefits
  • -prevent the user who wants to return to the list from clicking "back" twice and "refresh" once in order to verify that the action took place and continue reading their comments.
  • -make lots of people very happy they don't have to wait for LJ to load the page these three times in order to get back to what they were doing.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • -make site more usable

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • -implement screen flow identically to the way the "screen" comments sceenflow works
  • -however, if you wanted to save everyone a bunch of steps, why not just have the a confirmation popup box appear and then reload the post/comment page with the new "deleted" status alread in place. this would save multiple steps/page loads during this tiresome process.
