Add Date Of Birth to Hover Info

Short, concise description of the idea
I would like to see more information on the hover box, especially date of birth.

While it may be useful to a lot of community members (although I am a member of 36 communities, none of which require a birthdate, so perhaps it's just the circles you find yourself in), it's not likely to be useful to the majority, and will instead spin CPU cycles unnecessarily and increase clutter in the hover box, IMHO.

I can see the demand. Though If it were to be implemented I suggest it to be an 'option' not a requirement. And be defaulted to 'off' :)

Personally I don't think this is the best way of addressing the problem -- I'd rather just have a setting for communities like, "Only 18+ users can join" and then have it check automatically when people try to join .... or just display the birthdate on the approvals page so you have it all in one place, even.

I'd love it if it would check on its own! That way, the system could check, and people who didn't want to display their birthdays publicly might be able to join while the system took care of the rule, instead of the birthday needing to be publicly displayed for checking like it is now! Of course, people could lie about their birthday, but it isn't like they can't do that already anyway.

Has this been resolved by the new adult content settings? If so, I can tag this as 'implemented differently'.
