Title
Notifications - Automatically subscribe to every post in a journal

Short, concise description of the idea
Automatically subscribe to every post that comes up in a journal - rather than having to subscribe to each one individually.

Full description of the idea
Now, before you all complain about how terrible this would be - I'll explain why I want it. I have a linkblog at andyduckerlinks that's syndicated in from del.icio.us and I'd like to get notifications for all comments on it.

See - not even slightly harmful or invasive.

As it is, I have to add tracking to each one individually - not that hard, but still a pain. Automatically adding tracking to each of them would make my life easier.
An ordered list of benefits
  • I would know when someone commented on one of my entries.
  • People that run communities would be able to do the same and monitor when all comments appear on them, making their moderating easier and quicker.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • Dealing with the cry of pain that would arise on LJ when people found out about it.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • Limit it to communities and syndicated journals?
