Short, concise description of the idea
There is a little yellow star at the top of my page. I Think that it would be great if the star changed depending on your loyalty... 1 year of being paid member would be gold, 2 would be silver.. 5 would be a shooting star blue, 6 shooting star yellow.. i mean hese are just examples and the sky is the limit! Its a way for people to be proud of their support of Livejournal!
Full description of the idea
Our stars should be different based on the tenure of our livejournal subscriuptions... kind of like how on Ebay our stars change based on how many good feedbacks we get... I think ht should change based on what kind of account you have and how long you've been a consistant paid member!
An ordered list of benefits
- -it encourages people to support livejournal by being a paid member
-it encourages poeople to continue paying for their account
-it gives people bragging rights, encouraging them even more
-its spiffy to referr to yourself as a "blue shooting star" and people would know what you mean
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
- I can't think of any other than if your payments lapse you lose your star and have to start over
An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
- its a reall simple idea I dont think that it would be an issue other than development arguing over which stars should mean what :)
