Is it possible to reinstate the search/category box when not signed in?
Full description of the idea
When I go to the LJ.com site now, I can't find a search box at all, even in the site map. It only shows up again when I sign in. This is not helpful for me as I don't always have time to sign in when checking some sites.
An ordered list of benefits
- Quicker searches.
- Faster finding sites and interests.
- Not having to sign in just to find a group.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
- The search box worked fine on the old layout, I see no problems with it in the new layout.
An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
- I don't know any of the technical details and I've probably written this out all wrong but I find the new layout quite hard to use and losing the quicksearch box is the biggest nuisance of all. If anyone out there listens, can you please put it back?
