Automatic Memories Sorting

Title
Automatic Memories Sorting

Short, concise description of the idea
Provide and option for community moderators to preset memory sorting

Full description of the idea
Right now, memories in communities, or even in personal journals, are automatically sorted by "Order Added." This can make it very difficult to find entries if you know what the title is. Users should be able to set it so that when ANYONE views the memories, they are automatically sorted by a certain criteria. For example, if I want the memories in my community to automatically come up sorted alphabetically (by description), I should be able to set that as an option so that people do not have to manually select that sorting option.
An ordered list of benefits
  • It would be a lot easier for people to find archived journal entries if they were added in a random order
  • It would be helpful to the community maintainer or personal journal user if they could decide how their memories page would be organized

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • A small drawback might be if the moderator of a community wanted it organized one way and a member wanted to view it another way -- however, this could be easily remedied by still providing and option for users to change it if they desire. But allowing a person to decide how the page is viewed to begin with would be very helpful.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • A link could simply be added to the manage page
