There's the blah tag that puts up something like
captainspam. There's also the blah tag that puts up something like
suggestions. Thus, I'm suggesting to add something like an or or some such tag, along with a different icon, for syndicated journals and rss feeds. An icon that looks different than the user or comm links.
An ordered list of benefits

In the same way that the comm tag makes it easier to tell that a journal being linked to is a community and not a normal user, the rss/feed/whatever tag would make it easier to tell that a journal being linked to is a syndicated feed and not a real user.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved

Getting someone to make a new icon for this tag.

Coding it in, though the functionality IS there already (the only difference between user and comm tags is the icon displayed).

Spreading the word about ANOTHER LJ-specific tag...

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

A new tag could be added in LJ's HTML parsing tools that would work similarly to user and comm, but with a different icon.
