Title
Maintainer ability to edit posts in community.
Short, concise description of the idea
The ability for the maintainer to edit posts made by other users within their community.
Full description of the idea
There have been some instances, where I would like to have used lj-cut on certain posts within my community. Some members don't know how to do it, and even after I explain it to them, they still don't do it. It simply makes a community look so much neater if there aren't really long posts blocking up the view. It would be nice if I had the ability as maintainer to go ahead and edit these peoples posts so that I can put an lj-cut into it.
An ordered list of benefits
  • The ability to hide images or long posts that people have made behind an lj-cut without having to contact the person to do so.
  • Neater looking communities.

  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • Maintainers may abuse this right and edit posts to contain things other than what the user posting has written.

  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • Possibly just the ability for a maintainer to enter an lj-cut tag into someone else's entry would suffice. I'm not too sure how that would go about, however.
  • ~ historical
