Full description of the idea
I've been on Livejournal for years now, and I remember being so confused as to how the messages worked the first time I used it. It still baffles me that it's not as clean and easy to use as other email systems. For example -- I see a new message here on LJ. I click to read it and I respond to it. Then I can't read it again unless I check it as "Unread". I shouldn't have to click that option. You could have colour indications beside a message to signify a responded message, or you could just bold a message to signify an unread message. You know, like how other emails work? It would be much easier to navigate.
An ordered list of benefits
- Everyone would understand how to use it since every email / message system works the same way.
- I don't really seeing any problems as a result of this change..?
