have an official LJ created&supported archive tool to back up entries AND comments like ljarchive
Full description of the idea
Since the last few updates, whatever code you changed has broken ljarchive in that it won't sync/download the comments. This makes me sad as I've been blogging with LiveJournal since 2002(!!!) and I'd really like to be able to back up my journal onto my harddrive. Please create an official LJ ljarchive type program! Please??
An ordered list of benefits
- Able to sort through all journal entries
- Able to back up not just entries but comments
- having comments backed up important for saving comments from people who are either no longer on LJ or dead (for example)
