Full description of the idea
I think it would be great if we had a way to organize our userpics. Right now the only way to do so would be to delete all our icons and re-upload them to change the order. For someone like myself that has 100 or more icons, this can be time consuming and aggravating. Maybe something simple like the way we can re-arrange our link lists could work. Change the number, save, icons show up in the new order.
It would be a nice addition to those who, like me, like to keep things neat and organized.
An ordered list of benefits
- A nice, organized userpic list.
- A 'cleaner' look for people who like to keep similar things together.
- More visually appealing to visitors who look through your userpics.
- It would be optional, of course, so users can choose if they want to organize them or not.
- May be difficult to implement or not possible with the current system of uploading userpics. May require switching to the sort of flash-based uploading system if a simple change won't work.
