Title
Please Give Us Back the Check Box on Comments!

Short, concise description of the idea
Please go back to the check boxes where you can CHOOSE whether or not you wish to log in as a particular user.

Full description of the idea
There used to be a check box which would allow you to decide whether or not you wished to log in when you were commenting, which was taken away when the whole facebook/twiiter connect 'upgrade' went live.

This let you decide if you wanted to log in fresh, change who you were logged in as, or make a one-off comment from another journal.

Now if you want to log into a journal when you comment you need to log off, log back in, then refind the comment and go that way. Also, with older computers like mine, the ability to click 'Log in as this user' when you used the 'Other' option to post, let you post without actually opening up a whole browser breaking thread.
An ordered list of benefits
  • You would be able to remain logged in as one user if you wished - with full access to userpics and such, but still be able to make a quick comment as another user without needing to log in and out repeatedly.
  • You could also choose to log in as another user without needing to go up, log out, log back in, and refind the comment before posting.
  • Being able to choose to log in as a user and receiving the "Your comment has successfully posted and you are now logged in screen' greatly reduces browser death from older computers when you are logging into huge posts.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • There will be an extra check box on a screen that already has a number of other options. Not that I think that's much of an issue.
