When customizing your journal, there is a Multisearch Sidebox. This is the box that searches areas such as FAQ, Site, Jabber, ICQ number, etc..

In addition to that, offer a Yandex Search Sidebox much like this which is a pretty powerful search tool. It searches entries, comments, and FAQs.

This very suggestions page had to have an override search form using Google in it's sidebar. It could/should instead use the Yandex search. Hopefully it can/should be able to be also customized to search a specific journal or community (like the advanced search tool).
An ordered list of benefits

• Some people don't have or like the navigation bar and would prefer to have the search on their journal scheme in a sidebar.
• People could customize the search using advanced settings to search their own journal or a community they run.
